Who doesn’t want more time to themselves, right?
While PTO days may not be unlimited in your office, a great way to show your employees you appreciate their hard work is to reward them with more time for them to relax and unwind. This doesn’t have to be done in the form of a full day off, either.
You can do something as simple as giving each teammate a longer lunch one day out of the week, allowing people to rotate having a “sleep in” day, or letting people out early for the day on a Friday as a little treat.
It is sure to boost morale and, most importantly, show people that you are grateful for their contributions during their time in the office.
If you have employees that have to travel for work, why not show them you’re thankful for them by doing something to make their trip that much more enjoyable?
The next time your hard-working employee is on a business trip, treat them to an airline upgrade or nicer hotel stay. You can even have the hotel put special items in their room, like snacks or baked goods. This will make the trip more enjoyable for them and will show them that their dedication does not go unnoticed.
Do something seasonal
This is another way to get the team together in conjunction with showing your appreciation for a job well done. Given the summer is quickly approaching, why not do something seasonal together to celebrate successes and sunshine?
Go on a boat trip, play a round of golf, or even have a beach barbeque. These are all a fun way to get out of the office and enjoy an activity together, and morale levels are sure to surge in the wake of this activity.
Make a day out of it
If the office as a whole reaches a certain milestone or achieves a goal, it could be fun and exciting to do something office-wide. Try having a “spirit day” like bring your pet to work day, a luau day where employees get to dress the part.
This is something creative to do that will leave employees with a smile on their face and it is sure to inspire further loyalty to the company as a whole.
