Medical Cost Sharing for Employer Groups

 

These days, nobody likes health insurance. If you have it, then it costs too much. If you don’t have it, its hard to hire and hang-on to good employees.  Then, if you do pay those outrageous monthly premiums for health insurance, your employees are still stuck paying a small fortune if something bad happens. What kind of a benefit is that?

We’ve got great news! Affordable medical cost sharing is now available for employers through the Aliere Select membership plan.

We have teamed up with Sedera Health to bring employers a Medical Cost Sharing alternative to expensive health insurance.  Unlike health insurance there is no participation requirement or limited enrollment window.  Employees can sign-up any time of the year.  The monthly share per employee is about half an average health insurance premium.  When employees incur large medical bills, instead of a huge deductible, they pay only an initial unshared amount as low as $500 (per incident).  After that, all of their medical bills are fully shared by the community.

Its easy to understand, simple to use and employees love it.  

Now just to be clear, medical cost sharing sounds a lot like health insurance, but it is not health insurance!  Actually, we think it’s better.  The guidelines are simple and easy to understand. There is no network restrictions or penalties. Members are free to go to any doctor or hospital they choose.  And, no matter how bad it gets, or how long it takes, there are no annual or lifetime limits.

Aliere Access is a voluntary benefit.  The employer’s contribution is completely up to you. Some employers pay as little as 50% of employee only, while others pay 100% including their family. Employees can always add family members for an additional amount, and their membership is portable, even if they change employment status. 

So, why go broke paying for bad health insurance that they don’t even like?  When affordable medical cost sharing gives employees peace of mind and the comfort of knowing they won’t get wiped-out by an ugly ER bill, a staggering surgery, or something worse.
